Just a thought on the Categories tab or main page. place a Categories with photos/icons, for that category.
also showing the number of videos in each Categories
Something like

Categories
    Birds (0) 
Post about birds here
 
    Cartoons (2) 
Post pet cartoons here
 
    Cats (14) 
Post about cats
 
    Dogs (1) 
Post about dogs here
 
    Ducks (0) 
Post about ducks here
 
    Horses (0) 
Post about horses here
 
    Miscellaneous (0) 
Post Miscellaneous
 
    Unbelievable (3)

Well you can add a custom image in the Category Tab under "Category Images:".
But do you mean an icon?

The number next to the name should not be to hard(I think, just grab # of rows in the DB), getting it on the home page would be nice too(I think someone already made a Mod to do that)

I looked and did not see a Mod. could have over looked it.
