just a thought with the new member area
now what about option to list you own upload / submits? and view all by user ..

It's not really hard to list video uploaded/submitted but I think we need to had a submitter field.

Imagine someone with "winracer" username have posted a video on youtube and someone submit this video.
This video will be listed i your submitted/uploaded video but you are not the author/submittor.

good thought because on youtube winracer was taking and I am winnracer.


but maybe every time someone submits or upload they have to be login now so make new filed like you said submited by the login user

but  what I was thing in the back ground have at "submit by" and that would be the user loged in at the time. with the new 1.0 I think if you are login you can submit and upload as log as you are login. but  if the option is on the options page to let things be submited with admin approvel then yes  think it would be harder to code.

I think as long as you are login in then you can post anything. just my thought

The other advantage to a submitter field is that you can count the number of submitted file and then launch :
- a ranking system for your member
- Only allow active member (more than X submission) to upload file)
etc..

I thnk it can be a plus for the future of PHPDiretcor

Automatic videos adding when some keywords match. That would be nice?

I've been looking for something like this for a very very long time. This script sort of reminds me of the website called flixya.com. I would like to see one additional feature added if at all possible. Add the ability for the user/client to add there google adsense ID or code to one of the sections of the page of the embeded video, say either the top, bottom or side, while the webmaster has 2 of the ad slots and the user/client only has one ad slot. This will help bring traffic to the site and keep people returning, because they will see that they also have a chance to earn money by embedding videos. Otherwise, they would see no point in embedding videos, when they could simply just go to youtube and watch videos without any effort on there part.

I had also seen a new feature on another website, I don't remember where it was... but, it was a feature that would be located next to the embeded video and it would allow anyone to send that video clip to there mobile/cell phone. It would be nice to have this feature in the PhpDirector 1.0...
